Children need a good night’s sleep so they have enough energy for the next day’s activities. Parents also need adequate sleep and some child-free time to ensure their own needs are being met. As children grow, they can learn to become more independent in their sleep routine and be less demanding than infants. The goals is for children to develop healthy, independent sleep patterns.
This discussions group and workbook gives some positive parenting strategies to help you develop a good bedtime routine and teach your child to fall asleep in their own bed and stay in their bed until morning.
